The D25 tariff rate is meant for customers with variable rate in the low tariff who use electrical heating systems and electrical water heating systems.
Lowering the D25 price entered into force before the beginning of the winter heating season, which will have a positive effect on the customers in the upcoming season and it will be reflected in substantial power saving in electric heating.
This measure is part of the SSE program to support electric heating and make it even more attractive. The company intends to introduce further measures to stimulate the usage of electrical energy in heating, which belongs to the most comfortable and ecological types. It is mainly off-peak heating which favorably equalizes the load diagram in night hours, which is interesting for the whole distribution network in Slovakia.
SSE distributes and provides energy for life and business to almost 700 000 customers. We have been active in Central Slovakia, our home market, for more than 80 years. Building new lines, investing into the distribution network and supporting public interests, it contributes to economic development of the region and improves living standards of its inhabitants. SSE is member of the Electricité de France group.
