On May 18, 2004, Ing. Jozef lazar, SSE Director for Human Resources, was awarded the price "Employer Benevolent to Family" by Mr. Kaník, the Minister of Work and Social Issues. SSE ®ilina scored second in the category "Most creative measures for families".

Most creative measures for families

SSE was awarded the prize for its support to child-care facilities:

company kindergarten
reimbursement of half of the operation costs of the kindergarten
contribution for new-born children
 
The project was advertised in the press. We know companies that were awarded the prize last year and we also knew they had a clear idea on their social policy. We participated in the contest because we knew we would be successful and able to compete with the best.
