In the period of December 6 2005 to January 7 2006, extremely unfavourable weather conditions caused frequent and repeating failures in the electricity supply on major part of the operational area of Stredoslovenska energetika, a.s. Due to this situation, lots of our customers remained a certain period without such a common comfort as the electricity supply in the present time undoubtly is.

 Employees of Stredoslovenská energetika, a.s., as well as its affiliate electro-asembly company Elektroenergetické montáľe, a.s., employees of dispatch centers, regional maintenance offices, but first of all employees working outside, were working day and night  during this tough period to fix the emergency situation up.

 SSE, a.s. spent several millions SKK in order to reconstruct damaged lines and facilities. That is why we are proudly and with satisfaction receiving all expressions and letters of thanks from those, badly affected by  above mentioned calamity situation.
