Electricity supply recovery as to January 5, 2006

Since the January 1 2006, a long-lasting and extreme winter time in the region of Central Slovakia has caused damages on facilities and network of Stredoslovenska energetika, a.s. Due to wet and heavy snowfalls the falling trees caused outages and break of electricity lines. Some facilities were due to hard wind conditions put out of order in the respective period more than 10 times.

SSE has launched into emergency and reconstruction works its employees and employees of its subsidiary company Elektroenergetické montáľe, a.s. As for today's situation at 6 pm, the electricity supply has been recovered in all areas affected by snowfall calamity from January 1, 2006
