Since a New year 2006, a long-lasting and extreme winter time in the region of Central Slovakia caused damages on facilities and network of Stredoslovenska energetika, a.s. Due to wet and heavy snowfalls the inclination and falling trees caused outages and break of electricity lines. Some facilities were due to hard wind conditions put out of order in the respective period more than 10 times.
As to January 5, at 12am , outages on HV facilities were reported on about 18 transformers, leaving approximately 1 900 inhabitants without electricity supply. The majority of transformers with outages remain in the present in the regions Banska Bystrica (4) and Ziar nad Hronom (1).
From today s early morning hours, SSE has launched for emergency and reconstruction works its employees and employees of its subsidiary company Elektroenergetické montáže, a.s.
