In the premises of Stredoslovenská energetika, a.s., on Ulica republiky street No. 5 in ®ilina, an opening of the exhibition of Mr. Zdenko Horecký titled Obrazy z Malej Fatry (Pictures of Malá Fatra) took place on 28 June 2006, with the participation of the company management and the invited guests.

Academic painter Zdenko Horecký was born in ®ilina (Bytčica) and his work was inspired by the countryside of Northern Slovakia - Orava, Kysuce, the region under Malá Fatra. Rozsutec and Zázrivá in Malá Fatra are the favourite themes of this "poet of the Orava countryside". His works are owned by galleries, collectors and institutions not only in Slovakia, but in other European countries, the USA and Australia as well. He has recently held exhibitions in Israel, Cyprus, Prague, Hungary, Belgium, Luxemburg, England, Slovenia, Poland, and Austria.   

Stredoslovenská energetika, a.s. utilises this event to pursue its strategy of not only distributing and supplying electricity in order to fully satisfy its customers, but also of living in line with its region and being a part thereof. Stredoslovenská energetika, a.s. focuses its attention on expert technical and business issues on one hand, yet, on the other hand, it also supports the culture and spiritual values of the Central Slovakia Region, which promote it both in Slovakia and abroad.

The exhibition is open from 29 June 2006 until 7 July 2006 during business days from 10:00 o'clock until 18:00 o'clock, both for the employees of SSE, a.s. and for the public.
Stredoslovenská energetika, a.s. intends to further pursue activities of this nature in the future.
