Termination of electricity supply contract

  • Offtake termination implies cessation of the electricity supply contract, with termination of electricity supply at the offtake point.
  • The electricity supply contract may cease upon rescission of the contract by the electricity customer or upon the delivery of a written notice of rescission of the contract by the electricity supplier, if the electricity customer materially and repeatedly violates the provisions of the signed contract and the business terms and conditions.
  • You can terminate your offtake at any Sales Office of SSE, a.s. or at the Customer Call Centre by means of a "Request Form" available at our website.


Upon offtake termination, the following must be submitted:


Change of customer at an existing offtake point

  • A change of customer constitutes the cessation of an electricity supply contract between the original electricity customer and the electricity supplier, with the simultaneous conclusion of a new electricity supply contract between the new electricity customer and the electricity supplier without the suspension of electricity supply at the offtake point.
  • Since it is not possible for two electricity supply contracts to exist in parallel for one offtake point, the original contract must be, first of all, terminated upon the change of customer.
  • You can effect the change of a customer at the offtake point by means of the Customer Call Centre in writing - using the "Request Form" available at our website: www.sse.sk - see: Forms to be downloaded.
  • Documents necessary for the change of customer: Documents necessary for the conclusion, change and termination of an electricity supply contract for businesses and organisations.
  • As long as the change of customer does not require an SSE, a.s. employee to visit the offtake point, the service is free of charge. If the change of customer requires a visit to the offtake point, the actions taken are charged pursuant to the applicable pricelist of minor installation works.
